William Chow's Personal Web Page

The year is a sub page dedicated to my friend, Colleen Moshenko.

Below I have some of the photos of great times that were had. Feel free to click on the thumbnail to enlarge it.

I met Colleen as I was going through Quinson Elementary School. She also lived in my neighbourhood around where the Townsends lived. She has an older brother, Darcy, a grade ahead and a younger sister, Janice, a grade below (in my sister's year).

She was talented in music being one of the few people who I knew who could play a little piano.

One of the things I remember vividly was a Lakewood Math class, where one day we had a substitute teacher. The restless class spent a great deal of time ignoring him and making paper squares. So at the last 5 minutes of class, he said the class could have a war. So a whole pile of guys like Andrew Coates and Shane Bricker just got up and started throwing things. I remember I got out of my chair and ducked like many others. Anyway, I remember looking up, and I saw Colleen get hit in the face by flying square. Yes it was paper, but I am sure it stung.
I also vividly remember that I invited her to my 17th birthday (my sister's 16th) at a restaurant in Hart Highway. I remembered we danced to Frankie Goes To Hollywood's "Relax".

Yearbooks

1983 Lakewood Her grad comment reads: "Moo" enjoys music, basketball and pizza but can't stand her nickname. She'll remember the chocolate fights in Steeve's TAC class.
1984 PGSS

She writes: I hardly saw you this year! have a great summer. .

1985 PGSS Her grad comment reads: "Mouse" enjoys music, softball, basketball and watching juvenile hockey. This Sagittarius was born in PG and can often be heard saying "Why me?" Her pet peeve is the "ankle biter" Grade 8's.

Internet

She is part of the administration staff at UCFV in 2001.
An interesting hit is this one. It was on the movies.channel.aol.com site where it listed her name as an AOL search under the celebrity "Allison Girvan". So you click on the search link and it actually points to my web page (yay! somebody else visits my web page) to a Lakewood picture where Colleen is standing beside Allison. So thus, my next project was to look up Allison's name on Google.
Colleen's name doesn't show up quite as many times as her more "famous" younger sister, Janice.

Logbook

I have managed to find Colleen back November 2004, when I dropped by the UNBC campus and went to her office as the Admissions Of Sciences. She was newly married as Norish. You can contact her here.
