Today, we go to be with Ami's friend. Also happening today, her parents are back from a short trip to Beijing. So we will go over there to show them our pictures we took in Shanghai.

So the first thing in the morning we go to her parents house. Her friend whom I learned her formal name is Chi Mingzi today. Like the Cantonese do, we nickname people after traits or events. In this case, I have always been refering her as Korea Girl, because she married a Korean man. She has already arrived there. We showed a few pictures off then we headed to the restaurant.

For some reason she wanted to find a karaoke restaurant. I don't know why, since nobody will be singing this early in the morning. Well, we ordered our food which included fish. The waiter brought up a live fish which they pulled out of the tank. It was still twitching when he asked us if this one is good. We said it looked fine, then again do we really know what we are looking for in terms what is a good fish and a bad fish. Anyway, before he left, he took the fish and spiked it to the ground like he was a football player after scoring a touchdown. The fish went splat on the tile floor. A part of the fin went flying off and hit me in the leg. He picked up the now very dead fish up and took it away to be fried up. You know, I don't know if I'd want to eat it now. I am thinking in retrospect, that all the bones in the thing are all broken and now even harder to pick out of the meat. Which is what happened, Ami tried to pick out some piece which had no bones in it. But a stupid folded bone got caught in my teeth. I had to tooth pick it out. That's it, no more fish.

night dinner with friend.
our last dinner before she leaves for Korea.

After lunch, we went home for a bit of break. Then we were out again to go to dinner. Now the guy whom looks like my friend Sheldon, is an old high school classmate of hers. Again, it is another night of drinking too much.

The Experimental Chinese Food Of The Day is:
Lay's - Chinese Delights - Crispy Roasted Pork Flavor

Ok, think hard people. What is fatty pork meat fried up? Bacon. Yes, this stuff does taste like bacon flavored chips. Now, what is on the pictured on the bag is that Chinese delicacy of the crunchy skin coating of the pork when fried up. The part that people tell you not to eat because right underneath it is a mound of fat. You ask, does it taste like that? No.
